Morphologically, genetically and ecologically considered, Sumatran Tigers is the most unique subspeciess of the largest land predator in the world.

Naturally rare as a top predator, coupled with high level of threats, there are only very few, less than 500 individuals of Sumatran Tigers left in the wild. IUCN categorized them as Critically Endangered. Conserving this species requires many programs, including policy support and on-the-ground activities.
